Frequently asked questions
Do I need a boating license to rent a boat?
No. Every self-drive boat in our fleet can be legally operated without a license, within the horsepower limits set by Greek maritime law. We give every renter a full safety and handling briefing before departure, so no previous boating experience is needed.
Where are you located?
We’re based in Paleokastritsa, Corfu, one of the island’s most beautiful coastal areas, and the ideal starting point for reaching the Blue Caves, Porto Timoni, and Corfu’s hidden beaches by sea.
How many people can go on a boat?
It depends on the boat. Our self-drive fleet ranges from 7 to 8 people, and our private charter boats carry up to 8 or 9 guests. Full capacities are listed on each boat’s page in Our Fleet or Private Tours.
How do I book?
Book online through our booking system, choosing your boat or tour, date, and time. You’ll pay a 30% deposit to confirm the reservation, with the balance due on the day.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa , Master Card, Debit Card, Paypal, Revolut, Cash on the day.
Is fuel included in the rental price?
No, in no licence boats full its not included.
What if I've never driven a boat before?
That’s completely normal most of our guests haven’t. Before you leave the dock, we walk you through everything: starting the engine, steering, speed, safety equipment, and what to do if the weather changes. You won’t head out until you feel comfortable.
What happens if the weather is bad on my rental day?
Your safety comes first. If sea conditions aren’t safe, we won’t send you out, and you’ll be entitled to a refund under our weather policy. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Do you provide life jackets and safety equipment?
Yes, every boat is equipped with the required safety gear, and we go through it with you before departure.
What's the difference between a self-drive rental and a private tour?
With a self-drive rental, you drive the boat yourself for the length of your booking. With a private tour, an experienced local skipper drives you to specific destinations, like the Blue Caves, Porto Timoni, or Paxos & Antipaxos, and you can relax and enjoy the ride.
Are your tours private, or shared with other groups?
Our tours are private: it’s just you and your group, unless you specifically want to share.
Can the itinerary be changed on the day?
Yes. Most of our tours are flexible, and your skipper can adapt the route, swim stops, and pace based on your preferences and sea conditions.
Are drinks or food included on tours?
Several of our tours include refreshments, light snacks, or drinks on board. See the individual tour pages for details specific to each itinerary.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, water, and a camera. Everything you need for safety on board is provided.
Is there somewhere to store my belongings while I'm swimming?
Yes, our boats include storage space for personal items so you can swim without worrying about your things.
